The jurors of Joy of Music International Invitational Piano Competition are internationally acclaimed pianists and piano educators. Our jurors are:

Gila Goldstein

Pianist Gila Goldstein is known as a versatile musician and has captivated audiences around the world with her unique artistry and soulful interpretations. Ms. Goldstein has performed solo recitals, solo with orchestra and chamber performances throughout the United States, Canada, Mexico, China, Korea, the Philippines, Europe and Israel. Gila Goldstein has been a sought-after pedagogue for nearly twenty years and has given numerous master classes in the USA, China and Korea. She is currently a member of the piano faculty at Longy School of Music in Boston and a visiting Professor of Piano at Changzhou University in China. Previous teaching positions included Boston University, Brown University and New York University. A champion of the music of Israel's leading composer Paul Ben-Haim for over two decades as a performer and recording artist, Ms.Goldstein has recorded two volumes of his entire piano and chamber works on the Centaur label.In July 2024 she released a new album, also on the Centaur label, “Latin American Piano Gems”. It is available on all the streaming platforms. She obtained her music degrees in piano performance from the Manhattan School of Music and the Tel-Aviv University's School of Music.Her teachers included Prof. Nina Svetalnova in New York and Prof. Victor Derevianko in Tel-Aviv, both are disciples of the legendary pianist and pedagogue Heinrich Neuhaus. Yameng Huang

Renowned concert pianist, Yameng Huang, is tutor of Ph.D. students at the Central Conservatory of Music, in Beijing, China. She is a devoted educator in piano and music, and she is particularly renowned for her skills in teaching children and youth. Her students have won numerous awards and prizes at domestic and international music competitions. Yameng Huang was involved in the publication and distribution of NIGHTFROG Media and Film’s “Beethoven’s Diabelli Variations.” She has been a juror during numerous music competitions, both domestically and internationally, and she has conducted master classes during her decades-long career. As a celebrated pianist, she has performed solo concerts and chamber music concerts in Warsaw, Berlin, Vienna, New York, Tokyo, and in many cities in China.

Jennifer Wu-Miller

Jennifer Wu-Miller, a celebrated Canadian educator of music, has more than 30 years of experience in piano teaching in the USA, Canada and China. Her students are from various countries and regions, including China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, the USA, Canada, France, Korea, and Japan. She founded Jennifer’s Music Studio, in Beijing, China. Many of her gifted students have won prizes and recognition from local and overseas competitions.
